REMONDIS Australia announces that it has acquired medical waste specialist VetraHealth on 11 February 2026, immediately integrating the specialist operation and staff into its medical waste division.
VetraHealth is a well-established family-run business providing medical and clinical waste management services in Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW. Former owners Shaune Affoo and Shirley Affoo remain on board, so it is a seamless transition for customers, with fresh investments in people, fleet and equipment planned for the near future.
The team focuses on medical, clinical and related waste services, including sanitary waste management. It is a specialised suite of services designed for the veterinary industry, healthcare sector and related commercial markets.
