As the largest platform for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, IFAT is the international meeting place for the industry and sets standards for the future. Setting standards in sustainability – the exhibiting companies can do that too. Because how environmentally friendly a company thinks and acts can also be seen from its presence at the fair. IFAT is therefore pursuing a new sustainability concept this year, which includes an award for the most sustainable trade fair presentation. On Monday, 30 May, the Sustainability Award was presented as part of the IFAT opening event. REMONDIS was able to convince the jury with its sustainable trade fair presence and take a place on the podium in category 2 (100 m² and larger).
And the award goes to…

Representing sustainability
As one of the world’s largest providers for recycling, service and water, REMONDIS has a decisive role model function when it comes to sustainability – and this is also true when the company presents itself at a trade fair such as IFAT. It is therefore obvious that REMONDIS applied for the IFAT Sustainability Award this year. Read here how the sustainable trade fair presence was realised. A detailed report with pictures of the sustainable exhibition stand will follow after IFAT.
